Character Name: Abel
Gender: female
Breed: german shepherd
Age: 3 years
:: INFORMATION ::
Image: in my sig
Appearance:
She is a very beautiful dog. Her fur is long and silky, and like most others of her breed, brown and black. Her ears are large and slightly pointed at the tips while her eyes are a warm chocolate coloring. She doesn't have all that many scars other than a small X on her chest and a jagged line the wraps around her left, rear leg up to her tail almost. Her teeth are pearly white
Personality:
Abel is a very odd dog. She seems to have split personalities from time to time. Most dominate is her shy nature. She very rarely approaches other dogs, she normally waits for them to come to her. She doesn't say much to those she doesn't know and her trust is harder to earn yet. Than there's the other side of her. Very few others see this part of her. This side of her is outspoken, obnoxious, rude, flirtatious and overall a completely different dog. She has little, mental battles inside of her head sometimes, trying to fight this other part of her away. At times like these she is very silent, at least til one side of her gives in to the other. She is a very loveable dog once you get to know her though. She's a romantic at heart. The on thing she cannot stand though, is immaturity. She is wise beyond her years so this bothers her more than it would others
History:
Abel was born a house pet. Her mother was the one to name her Abel though the humans all called her 'Runt'. She was smaller than all her siblings and the humans made it very clear that this was a bad thing. They never gave her much attention, no matter how much she whimpered. This was when she discovered her second personality. One day she got fed up. She was only a few months old but she was made. No one ever cared for her. So, she bit them, she snapped and barked and growled. The humans through her out on the streets for it. At first she was sad but she slowly adjusted to her new life. She found another female who took her in as her own, showed her how to survive the streets. They became close friends as Abel grew. They did everything together, including looking for mates. One day, the other, Clarie, fell head over heels for a male named Andail. Abel knew here was something wrong with this dog though, so she begged for Clarie not to go. Her friend didn't listen and the dog she took as her mate killed her after they had pups. Abel was horrified when she found Clarie's body, and ran off on her own again. Since then she has kept to herself

The day was young, teeming with activity already and waiting for what might come. The birds sang their songs, the the mice ran across the floors and everything seemed to be peaceful. The forest wasn't dead and quiet any loner nor was it filled with the loud screams or ragging cats though. Everything was calm, just like before a storm would hit perhaps. But even that looked unlikely right now. No prophecy had told of troubles that she knew of. No dark clouds covered the sky. There was nothing to indicate trouble was coming. The sun shone and shone, brighter than ever, the blue skies were just that, a pretty baby blue with nothing to disturb the color other than a white fluff of cloud here or there, It was most cats idea of a perfect day. No worries, just doing what they do best, serving their clan well. No fighting, just training apprentices, patrolling and hunting. The usual routine that everyone took part in everyday. Even the rogues didn't seem to want to ruin this beautiful day. This was where she differed though. She wasn't like everyone else, all the other cats in Thornclan, all the other cats in the forest. She'd seen different things, had a different past and gone through her own share of hardships that some would never understand. Everything about her made her an outcast. Even her small size was unusual in her clan. She would always be Different.
soaked in vinegar
Alderdance was slightly disgusted by the day. Half of her wished a thunderstorm would hit right than and there, no warning available. She was tired of happy, cheery things. Her life had been miserable since she'd been a kit in the nursery. At only three moons or so old she had ran away and hid in a field of flowers. Her parents didn't look for her. A cat named Silentstorm who later became her mentor found her. That was one of the few cats she would ever say she trusted and still cared for, even if she had joined Starclan now. She wouldn't forget all the old she-cat had done for her, even in her moments of insanity. She may be a bit crazed from everything that she went through but if anyone would just give her a chance, anyone, maybe things could be different. The only thing was, no one cared. No matter what no one cared. The she-cats all hated her for the way she'd been as a queen but that was wrong of them. She had not wanted those kits and she'd had her affection for them. She really did love them but she couldn't show it because of who their father was. She had refused to show any emotion other than anger for so long that she was just prone to it these days.
like the battles with yourself
Her calico fur shone brightly in the rays of sun, and her slender frame looked even smaller compared to all of the trees that loomed around her home. Sometimes cats still mistook her for an apprentice if they didn't know her. Of course that just made it worse and made her temper flare. She was tired of it all. Sometimes she just wished Starclan would take her away, she wanted to be ok again. Her emerald, green eyes searched the area, landing on a tom not far off. She cursed slightly under her breathe but did she really mind company? Part of her said to be friendly and go talk to him, the other half was screaming at her to back away and run. She didn't know what part of herself to listen to though so she stood, frozen to the spot. Her ears flickered and she wondered if he had heard her trampling around like an angry badger, surely he had. She knew she'd probably scared of good prey too but at the moment she didn't care. She wasn't the one hunting so honestly she didn't think of her clan mates because they never seemed to think of her. She wondered to herself sometimes, why don't I just leave? Why didn't she?
