[glow=red,2,300]Alone. There was only one word to describe a sea of endless grey and depression. No colors. No life. It was like she wasn't even alive. Just a meaningless piece of trash on the side of a highway. A mere toy to fling aside once you were done being entertained. Nobody. She was a nobody. All alone. In a cruel world.
Miri was abandoned and rejected. Her usual optimist self would see this in a positive light, but right now she didn't even want to try. She didn't want to do anything. Except cry, and moan. Not quite sleeping, but not quite awake, in her little cardboard box on the side of a deserted street at night. Deep deep down, hoping someone would find her and rescue her from this despairing loneliness. But she knew no one would come. She was a nobody.
No one loved her. Why would they? She didn't even love herself. She didn't even care who she was, for goodness sake. Miri? Whatever. It didn't matter. She just wanted to die. Dying would be a million times better than this emptiness. Pain and torture was nothing, compared to this.
Let me die already, please! She hadn't eaten for days, but she didn't feel the hunger. It didn't matter either. She was cramped up in a tiny box, in an uncomfortable position. Again, she didn't care. there was nothing except the emptiness. Nothing. She tried to feel the pain but there was no feeling, except for alone. She was alone. So alone.
Maybe she was dead. Was this what it felt like to die? It would make sense. She deserved to die, in a way. She had bitten Tessa. She shouldn't have. The past was the past, and she couldn't change it now. Too late.
Alone.
Empty.
Nothing.[/glow]
