Character Name: Miri
Gender: Female
Breed: Labrador Retriever
Age: 3
:: INFORMATION ::
Image: Bow wow
Appearance: Warm brown eyes, light beige/honey fur with fluffy white fur on her belly, face, and short tail (see history). Small scar along her nose on the right side.
Personality: A true optimist, Miri sees no point in being negative. It doesn't make things any better. She is gentle and kind to everyone, especially those who need it. Quick to make friends, and maybe too quick to put her trust in someone. After the second chance, though, there is no coming back. Miri will never trust you again. Ever. There is no third chance. Her greatest dream in life is to have a mate and have puppies, but she thinks no one would ever love her. Why would they? When she is her normal self she is upbeat, funny, and outgoing. She stands up for herself, and others, and she's actually a daredevil, although you probably wouldn't be able to tell from first meeting her.
History: When Miri was born, she had 5 siblings. She lived in a human home, as a human pet. She was taught to love her human, John, and to risk her life for him if need be. Her mother and her siblings lived by this rule: Human first, dog second. Miri lived by this rule too, until John married and had a little girl. John was nice, but his wife and his child were not, and he would never say no to any of their ridiculous whims. First it was to cut off all of their dogs tails because it was "in" to have dogs with short tails. Then it was to leave the dogs out in the rain for days on end without food or water. The little girl, Tessa, would constantly torment Miri. Pull her stub of a tail, try to get on her back. When John intervened, his wife would yell at him and Tessa would keep going. John would back off. One day, Miri snapped and bit Tessa. John's wife screamed, and threw Miri out in the streets. The last thing Miri saw was the look on her mother's face, her sad eyes, and the disappointment in her daughter. She slept in a cardboard box and looks for stray dogs just like her, and a new family, but she is alone.
Relations: Mother, 5 siblings. (alive, as human pets)
:: THE ROLE PLAYER ::[/b]
RP example: Alone. There was only one word to describe a sea of endless grey and depression. No colors. No life. It was like she wasn't even alive. Just a piece of trash on the side of the highway. Nobody. She was a nobody. All alone. In a cruel world.
Miri was abandoned and rejected. Her usual optimist self would see this in a positive light but right now she didn't even want to try. She didn't want to do anything. Except cry, and moan. Not quite sleeping, but not quite awake, in her little cardboard box on the side of a deserted street at night. Deep deep down, hoping someone would find her and rescue her from this loneliness. But she knew no one would come. She was a nobody. A mere toy to fling aside once you were done being entertained.
No one loved her. Why would they? She didn't even love herself. She didn't even care who she was, for goodness sake. Miri? Whatever. It didn't matter. She just wanted to die. Dying would be a million times better than this emptiness. Pain and torture was nothing, compared to this.
let me die already, please! She hadn't eaten for days, but she didn't feel the hunger. It didn't matter either. She was cramped up in a tiny box, in an uncomfortable position. Again, she didn't care. there was nothing except the emptiness. Nothing. She tried to feel the pain but there was nothing. No feeling, except for alone. She was alone. So alone.
Maybe she was dead. was this what it felt like to die? It would make sense. She deserved to die, in a way. She had bitten Tessa. She shouldn't have. The past was the past, and she couldn't change it now. Too late.
Alone.
Empty.
Nothing.
