He licked her face and sat down there as the truck turned around and was about to head their direction. He grabbed her neck and lifted. He tried to sprint but he broke out into only a jog and the person got out of his truck with a catch poll....2 of them...

I remember being in a field. A meadow with crisp, green grass and I was running. I was running towards a bright light. The wind was in my face and it made me feel like I was free of all the troubles that weighed me down. I was as light as a cloud. I loved to run and I did just that. I ran as fast as an Eagle could fly. But, something happened. Right as I was about to run into the light, I stopped. I was right near it. I touched it with my snout. Then I thought. I thought about what I would be leaving behind. I thought about Deomn, the pups in the future, and what they would do without me. Then, I turned away from the light and ran back. I ran back to the life that I once knew… to this day I remember running away from death.
…I remember barely opening my eyes and looking into Demon’s deep Brown eyes which reminded me of melted milk chocolate.

He was dragging her and dragging her until he lifted her off the ground and hid in a deep marshy tunnel like tree dome. He cuddled against the wall and held Magic, gently in his jaws and snuggled her closely.
