I spotted a shaft of sunlight, and trotted towards it eagerly. I let out a sigh of contentment as it warmed my fur. I lay down, facing the pathways, alert for anything. But the sun was relaxing me, and the bed of sand flowers I was on cushioned me. Soon, I was in a dreamlike trance, my liquid brown eyes relaxed. My guard was totally down, but I didn't care. I caught a scent on the breeze, but didn't pay it much worry. I just floated into my dream world....

Demon crawled over to his mate and licked her face. "Hey honey. What's up?" He said smiling and laying next to her.
