Impulse He leaned his head so that he could look over the railing. He let out a low howl like how a human would whistle. This is a nice view, he thought. He watched the boats go below the bridge. He was lucky it was dark, so there were few humans to see him. Some did see him, though, but left him alone mainly because of his size. He walked further down the sidewalk. His lips were lifted up not in a snarl, but in a smile. He was careful to avoid the humans, but more of them avoided him. He soon found a little kid eating a hotdog. With a mighty bark, he made the little kid drop the hot dog and go running like a little pup. He ate the hotdog happily, wagging his tail at the same time. Life was good for now, but he knew all good things always came to an end. He didn't know if it was because he had a bad life or what. He stood up straight and pricked his ears. "Hello?" he woofed to the shadows.

Long, silky paws padded along the cold, dark bridge. She slightly pricked her ears at the sound of a howl, but she didn't look to see where it was coming from. Hope whoever that was gets caught by the dog catcher. Suddenly, a boat roared and she started to run, quite scared. A few humans laughed at her, and how badly did she want to turn on them. She snarled at a few of them, but they just laughed. Yea, so she looks like an elegant and beautiful showdog, so what? She was a vicious monster inside. She snapped at everyone human she went by, warning them to stay away. But humans were known to never listen, and some tried to pet her anyways. She jumped at the sound of a sudden bark and looked around. Some humans were mumbling words like:"stupid dog". She turned and crept into the shadows of the alley to sneak up on the dog who had barked. She saw him eating a hotdog and couldn't help licking her lips. She soon realized the dog had noticed her and started to back up. "H-hello to you, too."
