Appearance: A very light coat, referred to as a 'cream' Golden Retriever. A darker backside with white claws. She has sienna (light) brown eyes and nearly transparent whiskers. Her silky coat sheds often.
Personality: Ashes is a very playful individual. She really loves to go and have a play-fight or a nice game of tug-of-war. Often she gets very impatient and barks when she’s not getting attention. Ashes plays dominant and can fulfill her conceded ‘rank’ if need be. Don’t let her cute smile and charm fool you, this girl can be manipulative. She works hard to impress others and gain their attention and trust, usually working it to her advantage (not in an evil sort of way!). Ashes can be very sweet or angry, with a sort of two-faced personality at times. Ever since her past, she’s been nervous around humans and feels like she’s not good enough for things, despite her conceded thoughts. All in all, she’s that girl who’s so pretty, but feels ugly and fat. Your average ‘teen’ you could say. Now, Ashes is still a young dog and is often naïve and thinks too highly of others.
History: Her mother belonged to a rather poor antique salesperson, her father to a neighbor. They bred and her mother accidently became pregnant. The master (though thrilled and saddened by the fact) could not keep the expected six puppies, and turned to the streets to give away the goldies. A little cliché, they (mother, father, and master) sat on the street corner with a box of three-week old pups. All the siblings were sold except Ashes. The master had to do with what he had and take Ashes in until she was sold. One night, on terrible night, there was a robbery at the shop. Ashes was in the main house, asleep. The robber had the clerk at gunpoint, demanding money. Her mother stepped in and attacked the intruder like any good dog. Only, there were candles lit on a shelf, beneath which was a straw hat. The candles fell over as the robber collided with the shelf, and caught fire to the hat that in turn lit the wall, thus resulting in a house fire. Ashes was still sleeping. Her father smelled the smoke and ran to help, and her entire family was caught in the hungry tongues of the flames. They all passed away, and Ashes got her name after the fire caught the main house and she struggled out, her light coat covered in ashes.
The girl took to the streets for a home, learning how to survive and well aware of her never-ending fear of the flames.
Relations: All her family are dead, killed by fire.
:: THE ROLE PLAYER ::
RP example: Vylet rolled into the bushes where she was chasing Dusk's tail, only to find herself in an empty clearing. She was still smiling, breathing heavily from her run. "Dusk? C'mon! You win," she giggled, swinging around. "...Dusk?" Vylet's smile faded. Dusk wouldn't just ignore her, would he? Ghost's howl was heard, but relatively ignored.
Hm.
She saw the tail again and went after it, to be lost again, there it was alas! And yet nothing. Vylet growled. "This isn't funny anymore!" What was wrong with her? Why wasn't she all defensive as she usually was? The old Vylet would have smelled a rat before it happened, not after it was too late.
There it was, that damned tail, waving happily from the bushes yet again. Vylet crept up to it, gripping the dark tail firmly in her teeth--only to feel her jaws close together again.
What in the name of the pack's gods?!
She heard chuckling, a cackling chuckle. Something you only heard in movies. A bead of sweat rolled down the side of her face. Something was so not right. And what happened to the sun? To her shadow...?
"Dusk!" she screamed again. Now the warrior saw a dark shaped wolf emerge from the trees yonder. Was Dusk finally showing up? No, Dusk didn't have eyes like that... or such dark, nearly transparent, fur. There was a grin on it, like that of hers when she was Viehlet.
"Time to go..." the shadow-wolf hissed, running towards Vylet. The warrior's instinct finally kicked on and she attacked the thing, tearing at it maliciously as if it was a human, ripping out strands of shadow only to realize in despair they grew back.
The shadow grew, wrapping around her like a thick fog, Vylet couldn't move, hard as she tried. She turned to tears, very very out of character. "DUSK!!" Was all she finally said before the sounds of her cries died away, fading with the shadows...
And the sun shone once again.
--
Vylet was unconscious for a brief moment, before feeling her headache and holding it in her paw. She moaned softly as she sat up. What the hell happened? The ground... it was smooth and cold, like marble. Her purple eyes snapped open. This was an unfamiliar place.
Her eyes found other packmembers, she recongnized AJ and Morrigan, and the other females of the pack. What? "Hey... what....?" She stopped as the glint of an earring caught her attention. She turned her pretty head towards the direction. Another wolf stood there, his cross earring glittering in the torch light. He looked dominant, and Vylet peeled back her lips.
"Who. Are. You?" She spat, fur bristling angrily.
Miscellaneous: RL example my dog, Skye. Save for the history xD
