The city: This is the place to be!

I happily trotted throughout the city streets. Everywhere I go there seems to be many wonderful surprises...these are things like getting free food, getting a pat or a stroke on the head..love is swarming in every corner, it seems! I love the city!I guess I should stop here next to this huge building...there seems to be much shade.
Slowly walking toward the building then coming to a stop, Spirit lay down and put her muzzle between her soft forepaws.
This is so very wonderful...I think I might like being a stray as for now...but still, there are things I must watch out for...it's a dog-eat-dog world now..I must watch my back and make sure any friends I make aren't deceitful...
Guess I should just take a nice, long nap...
Spirit drifted off into a deep sleep....

The city. The ultimate doomsday waiting to happen. Those things they call cars zoom by at crazy speeds, whipping my fur and sending the horrible smell of gasoline into my nose. Drunk humans throw things at me, little children pull my fur and ears. The city. It's HORRIBLE!

I knew my place in this world. Instead of meekly walking at the edge of the sidewalk, staying away from those humans, I sauntered right in the middle of the crowd, growling at anyone who got too near me for comfort. My place was right in the middle. No ifs, ands, or buts.

I was following a promising scent trail that reminded me of my old home. My eyes glinted evilly as a thought of the information I could squeeze out of this dog. The trail got stronger and finally ended where a dog was napping in the shadow of a building. She seemed oddly familiar. Oh well. I jumped, leaped, and bounded over to her, tackling her and pinning her down under my muscular paw. "Dog!" I snarled, baring my teeth. "I know you. Now tell me the information I need!" I threatened, digging my paw deeper into her chest.

[eclipse]

I walked through the many city streets. Cars rumbled past. Humans ambled by. It was all so confusing. A young child walked past me talking loudly. It reached out a tentitive hand towards my muzzle.

Eclipse snarled showing her bright white fangs. The child yelped and went crying back to it's mother. Eclipse looked around nerviously, she knew how bad a human's kick could hurt. She raced down an allyway when she came face to face with the quarrling dogs. "Hey! let her go!" snarled Eclipse, showing her teeth.
