[glow=red, 2,300]Fang[/glow] I leaned my head so that I could look over the railing.
If dogs could whistle...well, that's what I'd be doing. Nice view. I thought with a wry smile. My crimson eyes watched as the boats below went beneath the huge bridge. It was dark, little amounts of people went by. I got odd looks but otherwise I was left alone.
I found myself strolling further down the walkway. A goofy grin was on my face, I couldn't help it. It was the wind. Something about wind in my face just gets me all...excited. I avoided the humans, I don't like them much. Still. When I found a lovely little hotdog I couldn't help but wag my tail.
"There is a good reason..." I said as I dug into my meal, "That I love this city."
Still, inside I knew this couldn't last. That was life for me. Nothing ever stayed good. Never. I was a walking time bomb, destruction of my life seemed to be plastered to the snow-white of my pelt. My pointed ears swiveled, did I hear a sound. "Great..." I mumbled.[glow=red, 2,300]>>From underneath the trees, we watch the sky Confusing stars for satellites <<[/glow]

Sabe:
I smelled the other dog before I saw him, and that was saying something, since he was not only huge but also a blinding shade of white. There I was, padding up the bridge, lost in thought when the smell hit me: The smell of another stray, a male, and a hotdog.
Of course, since I hadn't eaten for a day or two, my mouth began to water. But this dog was obviously not one I should mess with. No hotdog would be worth that, I thought to myself, close enough to see the numerous jagged scars that marked his otherwise spotless fur. I was never one to fight with total strangers anyway, let alone in front of all these people passing me, running around pointlessly as people in a city often do.
Sure, they act like they can't see me now, but if I cause a scene, hell's bound to break loose.
I stopped mid-step, wondering uncertainly if I should pass. The wind ruffled my tan and white pelt but didn't penetrate my thick fur. My stomach growled and just then the male swiveled his ears in my direction, then turned quickly to face me.
I gasped when his eyes met mine. They were red, like raw meat. I growled defensively, preparing myself for whatever this hulking stranger would threaten me with.
