She lost track of time while in the cave. How long has it been? A week? Maybe two? She was lathargic from lack of food. She's been licking the condensation of the cool stone walls of the cave. "We need to leave. Now. She began to dig a hole under the downed tree when the putrid fumes of a chainsaw hit her nose. The humans were starting to cut up the tree in front of the cave.
